Raid history and the reason for leaving:

I raided in Bloom-draenor horde side, left in BFA to help my alliance friend in irl, but this is such a joke afterward. They cant even use basic addons and cant kill heroic mythrax within their 3-days schedule, while added one day and progressed 4 days in first week still only killed 4 heroic bosses. I had to lead the raid afterwards and there’s no chance I can improve them in a short time.

So, I changed to another guild on the same server Curtain call, due to I still wanna help my friends sometimes on heroic and m+, also I can do some mythic raid at the same time. While there was few position openning on the alliance guilds, this guild was the best one that recruited range dps when I changed the guild regarding the progression was 2/8M for most guilds. But, a 4-days guild that still stuck on Fetid, you can imagine. People from curtain call may see this app since you both are on the same server and they have a big chance holding an account in here, tho I still have to say that I left due to some raiders have low willingness to improve themselves, some lack of basic knowledge on tacs and addons, some don't have self-awareness on how bad they perform. I left guild on a raiding day after one of their mages did rage quit 1 hour ahead of the raiding time ends.

Why do I want to join:

I decided to go back to horde and find a guild that ppl match the playing level with each other at first, while saving 60 euros for a flight to paris is also not a bad idea for me. There is a guild im contacting now but they want me to bring an alt, so I'll consider staying in here as the first option.

I expect efficient and smart progression, while ppl keep learning and improving especially the worst players have self-awareness. I wish to have a decent progression within a efficient schedule, like the guild ranking within 100 or close to 100. While my playing level matches guild ranking within 50, I dont like to play alt so didnt play in those guilds.

What I can bring to raid:

I help the progression in many ways, full preparation on my own, write and test WA in normal, adjust DBM. I analyse logs, try to find good tacs, good movement. I save the raid whenever I can, like in the 4-days guild I was in, the 1st kill on zekvoz I blinked and blocked to pick a circle in AOE without any arrangement on orb’s picking for me, the 1st kill on vectis I picked double circle that avoided a wipe.

Doing decent dps, running the tacs and staying alive is not issue to me, I’m always a pro tac player and also fireman. There are many situations that I can recall in old boss progressions, for instance in legion:

Antorus
in varimathras I can still play walking double ice lance
in coven I always kick the 1st kick and also afterwards
in aggramar I cc the adds
in argus I can dodge two sets of scythe in mid

Tomb
double/triple soaking is easy for me in goroth, kil jeaden
in sister of moon, I take almost 0 damage on glaive storm in progression
in mistress, I count and carry the inks needed
in maiden, I can save the raid with ice block the leaked wrong orb

Nighthold
in botanist I do the orb damage
in starboi I never fail a matching, also I can w8 for others to remove debuff firstly in a hard situation then get to my partner with blink
orb picking in elisande
dps the orb and steal buff from add in guldan

Trial of valor
in guarm, i stand in the front of one lane to take and carry the debuff

In old raids, cant remember them all clearly since it’s been a long time
WLK like in the heroic anubrak’s fight, I was warrior tank and tanked 4 spiders at the same time with full block items while building the aggro fast on all 4 mobs, got the “insane” achievement in around 2-3 months

WoD like in HFC
in the gorefiend’s fight, I was warrior, 3rd tank, rescued teammates out from images, everyone was rescued within 1-2 secs left
in the iskar’s fight, I’m in charge of leaping to the side and taunt the add out
WoD like in Highmaul, last boss margok, Im in charge of calling the interrupt rotation and I always kick the cast on the last 1/4 to delay the caster from doing anything for 1-2 secs, while other ppl cant always do it.

How do I improve myself:

First of all I read logs. By doing this I prepare for timeline, burst, movement, write WA, etc. If we are ahead of the progression, I would project the timeline myself, watch videos and read dungeon journal.

Secondly, after I have logs on a specific boss. I would compare my logs with top logs, find the differences between damage distribution, spell casts, movement etc, then fill the gap.

For the last, if the tacs are different and the situation is not suitable for chasing a log rank, I would run the tacs.

Personally I take the dps chasing as a good thing cuz dps always need to maximum the damage contributed by the gears, even if get assigned a role or tacs. Tacs is not the excuse for low dps, since raiders can plan the burst and movement, reduce the down time as much as possible. But it should NEVER be based on a risky way of playing.

Additional whines:

In all, I’m always a outstanding player that you can’t imagine where I gonna stand out as a fireman and save the raid. People always say my reaction is flash and the choice of movement always being wise. You won’t regret for picking me in any situation even if the roster if full.

After I joined Bloom, Nâte was not happy anymore cuz Im the new super mage, he tried to get loot in every circumstance, push dps in any possible way, then he went to CyaThursday at last. Just a sad but true story.
