Character info Character name: Velka Battletag: Leshii#2381 Race, class, server: Void Elf, Rogue, Terenas Talent spec: Looking to play sub for BFA currently but I will play whatever works best. Hopefully Azerite traits won't be as much of a pain in the ass about swapping specs depending on fights, Legion was real bad for that. For how long have you been playing World of Warcraft? Started around the time of BT being relevant in TBC. Total played time: 217 days on this character, well over 500 in total. Time played on current character in current expansion: 85 days and some hours. Guild and raid info Previous guilds and your reason(s) for leaving them: Currently I'm in a pretty casual 2 day guild called Exiles on Emerald Dream. There's some good players in it but also a lot of people who are clearly on a different level. I don't see that changing in BFA so I want to take my chances elsewhere. At the end of WoD I joined Angels of Ares (also Emerald Dream), raided in EN and NH with them. I had to take a break from WoW at the start of ToS, the guild died not too long after. Wasn't very surprising as the raids had gotten pretty toxic and people were already leaving. I've also spent a few weeks as a trial in Familiar with Drama on Ravencrest in NH progression but I decided against sticking around. They were a little too fanatical for me. Aside from that there's not much of note. How did you hear about Inner Sanctum? I've been aware of its' existence for years but I came across your wowprogress page recently. Why Inner Sanctum and why should we accept YOU? One thing I've noticed about myself while raiding is that I enjoy having people to compete against. While raiding on Emerald Dream there was no real competition for my guild or for me as a rogue on the server. That meant we were essentially competing against a number, trying to be ranked higher than some faceless other guilds/players. Inner Sanctum being on a very populated server with plenty of good guilds means there's (hopefully) always going to be something to push me (and you!) to do even better. This is a huge plus in my book. Your raiding schedule also works very well for me, the times are easy to make and 3 days of raiding is the sweet spot in my opinion. More than that and it starts burning me out, less feels like too little time to make good progress. Another big plus is that you've taken in some guys I already know. That makes transferring to Silvermoon a lot less of a gamble than joining a guild on a server where I'd know noone at all. As for what you get from me; I like to think I'm consistently good(ish) at my class and always try to get the most out of my character. Underperforming makes me angry (at myself) and pushes me to do better. Normally I pick up on mechanics in a pull or 2. Do you know anyone from Inner Sanctum in-game or irl already? If yes, who and will they vouch for you? In a way, yes. You've taken in two people from Emerald Dream recently. I've had fun times raiding with both but I doubt you'll value their vouching for me at this point. What is your raid experience (on any character and including past experience)? TBC: Gruuls, Kara, ZA. I was a newbie, don't judge :( WotLK: Naxx (wow!), Ulduar + hardmodes (no 0 lights), ToC + some heroic , ICC + some heroic Cata: I missed a lot of cata, came back to the game during DS. Cleared it on heroic. MoP: First tier only, server was dead and I was busy irl so I quit playing. WoD: HM + Kargath mythic, BRF + 5 mythic bosses or so, HFC fully cleared. Legion: Cleared everything until ToS released. Did the first 3 bosses in ToS on mythic. Recently cleared up to Argus in Antorus, then prepatch hit. What do you expect from raiding in Inner Sanctum? 3 raids a week and many many many wipes. Fun times along the way. Do you have a microphone and are you willing to use it during raids? Yes, I'm not chatty though. Can you attend all of our raid times listed in the rules? How often do you expect to miss a raid? (note we have an 80% attendance requirement and do track raider attendance). Be aware! In BfA We're returning back to 3 days a week. Don't forsee it being an issue. I might miss a raid on occasion due to work but it shouldn't be a frequent occurrence. How much do you play outside of raiding times? That depends on how much there is to do outside of raiding! Usually I'm online for a few hours each day. How would you describe yourself as a raider? I'm just a dude who wants to stab things and stab better than the other stabby people. That's it. No fuss. We wipe? I don't care. More time to stab things. (Unless I cause the wipe, that feels bad man) Honestly I just like playing, usually while raiding I get into the zone and have a fun time trying to do the things correctly. What addons do you use to improve your raiding performance? -Weakauras -Bigwigs -Details -AngryAssignments Please supply a screen shot to your UI: https://i.imgur.com/zOwVxTt.jpg Hopefully this confirms I am not clicking my buttons Please supply a link to the armory with your raiding gear equipped: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... enas/Velka Please supply combat logs of some of your previous kills: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/ ... artition=2 Gonna be cheeky here and link you right to the good stuff. My Antorus logs are really embarassing but you can only do so much when you're undergeared and your guild continously extends the same lockout. Let's pretend they aren't there, ok? Please supply a link to the armory of any relevant alts you're playing: I've got many alts but I can never settle on a 'main' alt to play. I can't bring myself to care about characters I don't commit some real effort to so I end up just playing my rogue every time. Not really looking to transfer multiple characters either, I've given blizzard plenty of money over the years already. Real life info Name: Tim Age: 29 Location: The Netherlands Info about you and what you do when not playing WoW: When I don't play WoW I sit at my PC trying to answer questions like "how do you describe yourself as a raider" for hours because I don't know man why are words so hard i hate applications A large part of the day I also have to do the worky thing. Currently working at a mental institution so it's certainly not boring. Also going to the gym semi regularly, it's pretty fun seeing yourself progress a little every week. |

Hi Tim, Thanks for your application. We discussed things early this morning and would like to offer you a trial with us, we're happy with the application and think that you can be a good addition to our team. Please add my battlenet so we can chat more easily there (Veej#2535) and whisper anyone in game when you're on silvermoon for a guild invite. Inner Sanctum Officer Team |

Currently working at a mental institution you say? Perfect training for trying to translate the garbage that comes out of Emnity's flatmate. |
