General info Character name: Boglård Battletag: Piggybackbee# 1171 Race, class, level, Artifact Level server: Dwarf, Shaman, lvl 110, Artifact lvl 80, Silvermoon Talent spec: Main elemental but enhancement and resto in progress for backup healing aswell as being adaptable on dps spec based on whats required For how long have you been playing World of Warcraft? I've been playing rather consistantly since early vanilla, about 6 months into the release of the game Total played time: about 1100days Time played on current character in current expansion: 25h (reroll at the end of tomb) Guild and raid info Previous guilds and your reason(s) for leaving them: I havent left a guild, however I've been in the management of Remnant and before that a guild called Algorithm which was also disbanded. How did you hear about Inner Sanctum? Friends maintly, remnant folks, squat. Why Inner Sanctum and why should we accept YOU? Well, I've been paying a bit of attention to different guilds and chilled since the disband of remnant, checking which guilds seem to form a solid roster and you seem to be putting together a good team, some people that I know and from what I've heard its also a guild with good management. I think that if I could actually play a class I enjoy rather than 3rd tank I'd find a fun raid team to play and progress with, I would be able to be a usefull asset dps wise in my case, aswell as helping out with ideas if that would be what you would like. Do you know anyone from Inner Sanctum in-game or irl already? If yes, who and will they vouch for you? Ingame, all the remnant people. Kneecap I've technically met irl now so we're basically irl buddies. Other than that I've had a few chats with Blurbs. I do beleive the majority of them could vouch for me What is your raid experience (on any character and including past experience)? I've done a full clear of all raids since vanilla with the exceptions of: Basically entire of Mop was casual for me, Blackrock foundry was break, NH and ToV was also break. The rest was cleared on a various ammounts of characters and on highest difficulty. Vanilla was hunter TBC:Hunter/rogue WoTLK: Prot pala/different lock specs/warrior/rogue Cataclysm: Maintly Paladin, some mage and warrior MoP: Mage but mostly casually Wod: Arcane mage/All priest specs/warrior(prot/glad/arms) Legion: SP during EN/ToS, Arms warrior on the side, End of tomb turned to Elemental shaman and during Antorus I rerolled to blood dk to be our third tank. Also started gearing a wlock which just hit 960 ish. What do you expect from raiding in Inner Sanctum Serious and efficiant progress, some fun social times and I would asume some fun raids boosting if you do that. Do you have a microphone and are you willing to use it during raids? I do have a fully working microphone and Im a talkative person when its comes to weather I might need an external or spot healing for w/e reason that could be considering those moments are rare in antorus. Can you attend all of our raid times listed in the rules? How often do you expect to miss a raid? (note we have an 80% attendance requirement and do track raider attendance). Be aware! In BfA We're returning back to 3 days a week. I've technically been away 1 raid since I joined remnant during august, also had a vacation planned for the weekend that just passed that would have been a vacation no matter the disband. I've had a couple of oversleeps on 10min and 1h each in total. How much do you play outside of raiding times? Depends alot on the atmosphere on the guild but as I play something I find fun I play alot to constantly find better ways to execute a fight, optimize my playstyle or my gear, by farming or siming and practise. I'd guess, It's between 2h during late tier reclears, upto 20h per day during release of expansions (I've got a sleep problem that doesnt rly let me sleep much so 20h a day isnt that difficult for me) How would you describe yourself as a raider? Learn mechanics, Apply my dps while finding the best moments for defensives, Improve my dps and learn my limits. Talkative in a manner that benefits the raid, no random discussion during pulls, quiet during explanations and if I have a suggestion or idea, I will let you know after the raid in W. Other than that, motivated and ALWAYS tryharding, efficiancy is what puts me in the mood, so no matter if its a NM clear you'll see me with augment runes tryharding. What addons do you use to improve your raiding performance? Angry Assignments, BigWigs, Exorsus. Depending on the class and fight, a big variety of weakauras and for ex. Insanity/maelstrom bars. However I could definitely improve my dps further and it's something I would most certainly not mind moving to silvermoon and main if that would be preferable to you guys. I do still lack the legendaries that I would require but I sim for around 1.7mil and I can do better than I sim unless I missplay, so with practise I'd imagine I could do it quite well. If god help me a 3rd tank would be required on occasions I would definitely fill, I'm not fond of playing it and my exp with actually tanking a boss is rather low, since I've had to put more preasure of optimizing my dps for blood that has been my primary concern and my Main tanking skills are fairly low but could be improved. My plans for the next expansion is straight up to main shaman or warlock, I've set down for those classes so far because I like them and they look awsome at the beta so far. Seing as warlock is a dps only class I will of course learn all the available specs and go what is required of me and for shaman I will maintly learn ehancement and elemental but also try to get my resto as good up to date as I can. I do also feel like adding I'm not as dull as the application might make it seem, not sayin my sense of humor is good but I do love a good pun. Hi Boglard, We can't really trial you on an alt on farm, it makes no sense for us as content is trivial now, so we'd have to trial you on your new main when bfa launches. Secondly, if an excellent warlock were to apply, you'd be in a situation where you would probably have little chance to make it into the raid team. This is as honest as we can be with your application; ele shaman is not part of our current needs, and there's 4 months between the start of your trial and someone else applying / getting into the team. Without sounding too harsh, you seem to take a lot of breaks and your previous experience doesn't really tell us anything about you that would excite us, this has again happened in this tier, will it happen again next tier??? To clarify, this break now, was a forced break as I searched for a guidl after the disband, I have no been on a break since ToV and NH and that was because of a problem in my life that is sorted. However I do see your point, It's not a class on high demand that doesnt offer much, best of luck to you! |
