For how long have you been playing World of Warcraft?

I've played in vanilla for a while, but haven't played again until around 8 months ago. Since picking it back up I've wasted no time getting up to speed and getting into hardcore progression raiding (the only real raiding )

Probably I have been playing a little too much. Often have the game running in background though. Yes, thats it.

Guild and raid info
Previous guilds and your reason(s) for leaving them:

Banished: Jumped into mythic tomb with the guild on maiden, progressed on the last three bosses and got 2 KJ kills in. Joined for the first week of antorus progression where we cleared up to and imonar. During my time I had 100% attendance, and had a good time.
Regrettably a difference in opinion about gearing tanks, where I disagreed to loot going to alts and offspecs over an increasingly undergeared main tank. The situation became unfeasible and I sadly had to leave.

Sensation: Startup guild, was good friend to the GM and helped get the guild up where I could, however the raiding mindset ended up just too casual for me and I've been looking for a more competitive group of players since.

How did you hear about Inner Sanctum?
I'm going to be perfectly honest here, I have no prior knowledge of the guild. But that just means I have get to know you guys right.
I've simply been looking around for any guild with similar progression I had during my first week of antorus, who have an open position for a tank. If you'll have me, I'll fill that spot for you.

Why Inner Sanctum and why should we accept YOU?
I can't really answer that question for you. I can prop myself up and sell myself and all that, but that's not me. I just like playing the game and doing challenging content. I have no problem admitting when I make a mistake, rectifying it, and getting it done.

Do you know anyone from Inner Sanctum in-game or irl already? If yes, who and will they vouch for you?
I'm afraid not no.

What is your raid experience (on any character and including past experience)?
Besides a whole lot of pugging, I've been in a few guilds before, many often trying to get into mythic but falling flat. My real raid experience was in banished, where I completed mythic tomb and the first half of mythic antorus. I've almost always tanked in the mythic raids I've been in.

What do you expect from raiding in Inner Sanctum
Players on top of their game, making things happen. All that good stuff.
In all seriousness though, I don't have stringent expectation or anything like that, I simply want to play the game with others of a similar mindset.

Do you have a microphone and are you willing to use it during raids?
Yes & yes

Can you attend all of our raid times listed in the rules? How often do you expect to miss a raid? (note we have an 80% attendance requirement and do track raider attendance)
I don't foresee any problems attending every raid.

How much do you play outside of raiding times?
Far too much. If I had my way I'd be raiding every day hehe.

How would you describe yourself as a raider?
No nonsense pragmatic, I get the job done and if I don't I keep working on it till I do. Never settle for good enough.

What addons do you use to improve your raiding performance?
DBM, angryassignment, weakauras, rclootcouncil. Standard stuff, I like to keep it simple.

Clean and simple, room for more stuff as I need it.
I haven't gotten an external tracker yet, as I hadn't needed any on the bosses I've done. (except maybe portal keeper with lacking gear, dot was scary) No problem to add that though.

I always focus on mitigation before damage, even though there are no percentiles for that.
Bonus log, even if we wiped I was still pretty happy how long I lasted.

Uhh, not much to say about me, boring person to be honest. I take it easy, not huge on smalltalk but sociable enough. Sometimes I make bad puns, like really bad puns. As for gaming I play some overwatch from time to time (highest rank master, though that's a while ago), or some single players especially a good rpg with a good story to immerse in. I like a good read sometimes too, or a relaxing walk. I don't know, mostly I play wow in my spare time.

Unfortunately, we are going to decline your application.

We discussed this and were very close to deciding to take you, but we had a tank app that we accepted, but due to a complication, it was delayed but then given the green light last night. We should have replied as soon as we had the other tank join, so sorry for making you wait an additional 24 hours.

We were very happy with the level of effort you put into your application and given that the other application didn't exist, it would have been a much easier decision (a yes, straight away), but we had to allow for some fairness for everyone in this cisrcumstance.

Very unfortunate. I'm determined to progress as much as I can of the current tier, so I'll have to keep looking. I don't mind at all having the application open while I do that though, or give me a poke ingame sometime.
