For how long have you been playing World of Warcraft? My god, Makes me feel old! Around 10 years.

Total played time: Approx 200-250 days across multiple characters.

Time played on current character in current expansion: I have played all 4 tanks in legion, approx 100 days.

Guild and raid info
Previous guilds and your reason(s) for leaving them:
<Omega> Was my old guild on Outland. I founded this guild with some friends back in January of 2017 with the intention of simply becoming a guild that raided Mythic. We did achieve this goal after months and months of blood, sweat and tears. We rose to be the server 4th guild on Outland, raiding 2 days per week. I have extremely fond memories here and was my first real successful guild, I learned a lot about giving and taking feedback and looking after other players. This guild then merged with a 'rival' guild and became..

<Ex Cinis> I Co-Founded this guild. Was a result of two very close guilds merging with the intention of becoming server no.1 and ultimately reaching Cutting Edge:Kil'Jaeden. We didn't reach this goal unfortunately due to disbanding shortly after the merge. Clash of personality to say the least. We did achieve 8/9M and reach realm 2nd in our short time together. We just couldn't make the merger work and eventually went separate ways.

<Arisen> My current guild. Some original members of <Omega> banded together to move realm as Outland was dying, so we setup <Arisen> with the goal of recreating the guild we used to have before the merger and hitting Antorus together. This hasn't worked out as well as we liked, many players are suffering burnout and recruiting is difficult to say the least given we are the 'new boys' on the realm. The team isn't what it used to be and I do not feel the guild will make it to the new raid, which does break my heart a little, However I stand bye my personal goal of reaching Cutting Edge and will do what needs to be done to achieve this.

How did you hear about Inner Sanctum?
I was aware of the guild and the status from previous expansions, now I find myself on the same realm I'm even more aware of the presence and status of the Guild on Silvermoon.

Why Inner Sanctum and why should we accept YOU?
Great question. Let me start by outlining my personality; I'm an incredibly hard worker, I built a guild from nothing on a very inactive server with few PvE focused players, This has allowed me to develop excellent in-game people skills and management skills. I can make un-emotional decisions, have a thorough understanding of how serious guilds works and how to handle myself in that environment. My drive to improve never ends, I will scour any resource available to make sure my performance does not hinder guild progress (another behaviour adopted from Guild Leading). All my time spent outside raiding is used preparing to raid, My passion is raiding and I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere it brings, even when it gets really, really hard.

I'm punctual (I've only missed 2 raids since January this year) and I make every effort to be online early, prepared and ready to enter the raid.

Criticism is something I actively seek and do not shy away from. There is always someone out there who knows more or who has more experience and I always try to take advantage of situations like that, I want to simply be better every raid.

Why Inner Sanctum? Well it is for a few reasons. I feel i'd be a great asset to the team for the reasons I have outlined. Your raiding hours are perfect and it sounds like the environment I would thrive in, where top performing players are all pushing the most progress possible whilst keeping a cool, calm and hopefully positive atmosphere.

Your history speaks for itself and just having a chance to be part of a the team contributing to these incredible results makes me incredibly excited. I know as a player I put huge amounts of effort into my characters and gameplay, with a guild as accomplished as Inner Sanctum I really feel like my time would be well spent.

My approach to raiding is very much a hardcore mindset. I keep as many alts raid-ready as possible to ensure I am not the weakest link at any point of progression. I clear my schedule ahead of progress and balance real-life around raiding. I understand how big a commitment this game actually is and make sure i account for that outside of the game.

I, also, like the idea of stepping down from a leadership role in my guild and being able to focus 100% of my attention and time into playing the game to the best level possible.

Do you know anyone from Inner Sanctum in-game or irl already? If yes, who and will they vouch for you? Yes - Roronoa. Have raided with him for a number of months.

What is your raid experience (on any character and including past experience)?
8/9M ToS is my current Mythic experience.
8/10M NH - Omega was late to the race!

No other notable M Experience from Legion. My last time 'hardcore' raiding was back in WotLK where i was in a server no.2 guild.

What do you expect from raiding in Inner Sanctum
Just a like minded group of raiders who consistently put in the effort required to reach the top. No tilting, no trash talking. Just mature players who can progress at a strong rate. I'm a personable guy who loves to socialise and create some healthy competition. I just have a feeling that Inner Sanctum possesses the atmosphere I've been looking for.

Do you have a microphone and are you willing to use it during raids? Yes, no problem at all.

Can you attend all of our raid times listed in the rules? How often do you expect to miss a raid? (note we have an 80% attendance requirement and do track raider attendance) I doubt I would ever miss a raid, unless it was an unforeseen IRL issue/emergency.

How much do you play outside of raiding times? I do have a full-time job, I log on almost every evening to do dailies/keys or farming of some sort. I'd say an average of 5/6 nights per week.

How would you describe yourself as a raider? Level headed and composed. I understand complex mechanics and can adapt to strategy changes within a single pull. I can very often identify problems with my own play/someone else's and implement a fix/solution if required. Additionally, I'm dedicated and extremely motivated, even after raiding non-stop since January.

What addons do you use to improve your raiding performance?
Bigwigs
Weakauras
Exorsus
Angry Assignments

Additionally I frequently analyse Warcraft logs and import those logs into WoWAnalyzer for more specific breakdowns of performance and efficiency.

Real life info
Name: Matt
Age: 22
Location: Birmingham, UK.

Info about you and what you do when not playing WoW:

Technician for Apple is my day job. I enjoy training in the gym and try my best to take of myself IRL and keep a healthy diet, This makes long hours raiding very easy for me to deal with! I'm a big music fan, helps keep me focused. Would love some playlist recommendations!

You're free to add extra information if you feel like it!

You'll get along with me, I'm just a very easy member to have in the guild. Ultra-reliable and keen to keep improving. I steer clear of drama and just focus on my game, but can engage in banter without taking offence!

I can 100% get on board with the vision and goal of the guild as a whole and would love to be able to contribute to the success you will have in Antorus and beyond.

Great question.

I rerolled monk back in NH as we already had a Guardian.

I am in the process of levelling a Guardian up literally as we speak, so I have the option of all the tanks (bar DH)

Hey Zyge,

Unfortunately we can't fit another Main Spec Tank in the team.

Good luck.
